Explore the Eight Bedrooms of the Masseria

Masseria Petrarolo has 8 double bedrooms

Masseria Petrarolo’s eight bedrooms sleep 16 in complete comfort. All have luxury ensuite bathrooms. The Masseria’s heritage and expansive sea views blend with Alexander Waterworth’s interiors to stunning effect. The result? Eight private sanctuaries, each with a unique legacy full of rustic elegance and warmth.

As majestic as its namesake the Gargano peninsula, this ground floor king size/double/twin has an open fireplace, its own private terrace above the Kitchen Garden, and is joined to the Valentino suite via a discrete interconnecting door. The Gargano ensuite has twin basins, a hot tub and an outdoor shower.

As romantic as Rudolph Valentino, this king size master suite has a roll-top bath, walk-in shower, and secret private entrance to the Hammam. Its private terrace leads to the Kitchen Garden. The Valentino is connected to the Gargano suite via a discrete interconnecting door.

The Melograno suite encapsulates the richness of Masseria Petrarolo’s historic legacy. The enormous sunken bathtub, under its grandiose vaulted ceiling, is the epitome of bold luxury – yet centuries ago this was a chicken coup. High ceilings and french doors opening on to the Breakfast Terrace, with its expansive sea view, flood this beautiful king size/double/twin with light.

The Giordano suite’s open fireplace and chianci stone floors lend it an air of dignified charm. This peaceful double opens directly onto the Breakfast Terrace. Its spectacular views of the olive groves and the sea beyond make this the perfect spot for dreamy afternoons of sun-drenched reflection.

With six sea-facing rooms Masseria Petrolo is not short of stunning views, but the Cappella exceeds them all. Located above the chapel, the Cappella’s roll-top bath sits behind a devastating bay window overlooking the ancient olive groves and the sea. The vaulted ceiling and fireplace will transport you to another era. This king size suite also has a private terrace, a walk-in shower and direct access to the family kitchen and library.

The Agrumeto takes its name from the heady aroma of the Agrumeto Citrus Grove, over which its balcony and outdoor bathtub sit, claiming the last of the afternoon sun. This handsome first floor queen size suite has a rustic fireplace, a bright and spacious ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and direct access to the Family Kitchen and Library.

The Lapazaya is one of the Pool House’s two interconnecting rooms. It is a master suite named after a mastermind, Giorgio Lapazaya, with stunning sea views, direct access the Pool Terrace and children’s play area, and its own outdoor shower in a secluded secret garden. This warm, elegant suite has an inviting lounge with an open fireplace, and a spacious ensuite with a walk-in shower and freestanding tub.

Lampascioni, hyacinth bulbs, are a local delicacy with aphrodisiac properties, the potency of which was noted by both Pliny the Elder and Ovid. Aptly named, this second Pool House suite will make your heart soar. The king size/twin Lampascioni has a walk-in shower, beautiful shaded terrace, sweeping sea views and direct access to the Pool Terrace and La Tartaruga, the children’s play area.
